Personnel Administration in Schools according to Sangahavatthu IV

Abstract

This article implies to the personnel administration according to western knowledge which is integrated with the Buddhist principle on Sangahavatthu IV. In the west, a new personnel administration consists of twelve aspects and a present personnel administration in schools consists of five concepts. When these are mixed with the Sangahavatthu IV, it is founded that the western knowledge is related to the concept of Sangahavatthu IV which is formed of the new body of knowledge of personnel administration, so-called SPS Model which means 1) S represents the Sangahavatthu IV (S1) that is a sympathy for each other; 2) P represents the five concepts of Present Personnel Administration in School; and S represents the School Administration (S2), in this case, it refers to the twelve aspects of new personnel administration. The relation with SPS Model is as follows: 1) Dāna (S1) means the opportunities for giving everybody presenting the abilities fairly, it is concerned with the workforce planning and position management, and recruitment and appointment (P), and related to equality, suitability, and justice (S2); 2) Piyavācā (S1) means the human relations in negotiation which is concerned with promotion to effectiveness of official work (P) and related to the concept of human relations (S2); 3) Atthacariyā (S1) means the promotion to school benefit in order to create the quality of each aspects of school which is concerned with the promotion to effectiveness of official work and retirement (P) and related to welfare, ability, research, and organizational development (S2); 4) Samānattatā (S1) means the maintaining and enforcing the rules, order, and regulation equally which is concerned with discipline and its observing (P) and related to stability, promotion, and effectiveness of working (S2).
