PEE JAVA KLONG KAEK MUSIC AND MUAY THAI AT RAJADAMNUEN BOXING STADIUM

Abstract

This research aims to study the musical method in Muay Thai Sport Art. The data were collected through the documentary study and interviews with musician experts and Muay Thai experts. The results of this research reveal that the musical of Muay Thai is divided into 3 stages; firstly the stage before the Muay Thai boxing begins, secondly the stage of pay homage process and thirdly the stage during the boxers box. The first stage used prelude song, the second stage used Plaeng Thai Sarama song and the last stage since round 1 until round 5 used Kaek Jao Zen song in round 1, Plaeng Sum Niang Kaek in round 2-4 and Plaeng Cherd in round 5.
