FACTORS AFFECTING RECREATIONAL ACTIVITY PARTICIPATION OF STUDENTS IN BUNDITPATANASILPA INSTITUTE

The purpose of this research was to study and compare factors affecting student activity participation at Bunditpatanasil Instutute. The samplings for this research, classified by sex, years of study and faculties, were 791 students in Bunditpatanasil Instutute. The tool used in the study was a Linkers five-point rating scale questionnaire. The statistics used in this study were percentage, mean, standard deviation, T-test, and F-test. The data were statistically analyzed by SPSS program. The results revealed that:
1. Internal factor affecting student activity participation was at a high level. Most of student wanted to participate with enjoyable student activity. External factor affecting student activity participation was in a high level. Most of student had opinions: activity leader, place, and student affair teacher were affect to student activity participation.
2. After comparing factors affecting student activity participation, it was found that
2.1 There were significant differences in internal factor between male and female students at the 0.05 level.
2.2 There were significant differences in total and external factor regarding years of study at the 0.05 level.
2.3 There were not differences in factors effecting student activity participation in terms of faculties.
