Abstract

The use of water decal sticker techniques in contemporary porcelain sculptures of the abundance of the sea had two objectives as follows: 1) To use water decal sticker techniques instead of porcelain and paint; 2) To create contemporary porcelain sculptures of the abundance of the sea as a reflection of the abundance of the sea.

The results of creation showed that water decal stickers were used instead of coating and porcelain paint. It promoted interesting pieces to have outstanding features in the process of copying stripes. The color could be tested to meet the desired shades in accordance with the desire to present the impression of the abundance of the sea with marine animals that had many species living together. Designing patterns, attaching them to molding pieces, and burning water decal stickers resulted in contemporary porcelain sculptures of the abundance of the sea.
