Roles and Responsibilities of Article Authors
1. The author must certify that the submitted work has not been previously published elsewhere and that the manuscript is not simultaneously submitted to other journals.
2. The author must adhere to research ethics, respect the work of others, and refrain from plagiarism without proper citation. The work must pass plagiarism checks using the CopyCatch program via the limit for Thaijo website not be over more than 30%.
3. The author must prepare the manuscript according to the journal's guidelines and strictly follow the instructions for authors.
4. All authors listed in the article must have participated in the research process or conducted the actual study. The information presented must be truthful.
5. The author must provide proper attribution for works, images, or tables used in their article by citing the "source" to avoid copyright infringement. (In case of legal disputes, the author will bear full responsibility.)
6. The author must verify the accuracy of references and cite only necessary and relevant sources. Excessive or outdated references should be avoided, ensuring consistency between the content and the reference list.
7. The author must revise or adjust the article to comply with the journal's formatting requirements, including adherence to the prescribed referencing style.
8. The author must amend the article based on suggestions or evaluations from the editorial board reviewers in the set time. If not, the Journal reserves the right not to print the article and does not return the printing fee, in any case.
9. The author must disclose the source of any funding that supported the research (if applicable).
10. References to retracted articles should be avoided unless the cited content pertains to the retraction process itself. In such cases, the citation must include an explanation stating it is a "retracted article."
Roles and Responsibilities of the Editor
1. The editor is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the quality of articles for publication in the journal. Articles must be selected for publication only after passing the review process, based on clarity, alignment with the journal's policy, and compliance with the standards set by the Thai-Journal Citation Index Centre (TCI).
2. The editor must keep information about authors and reviewers confidential during the review process and ensure it remains strictly private.
3. The editor must rigorously check for plagiarism to ensure that published articles do not plagiarize others' work. If plagiarism is detected, the review process must be halted immediately, and the corresponding author must be contacted for an explanation before accepting or rejecting the article for publication.
4. The editor must maintain ethical standards and use academic reasoning when evaluating articles, free from bias or personal interest in the authors.
5. The editor must avoid conflicts of interest with both authors and reviewers.
6. The editor should not accept articles that have not undergone the peer review process.
7. The editor must carefully select reviewers with expertise directly relevant to the article's subject matter.
8. If the editor finds that an article contains plagiarism or fabricated data and warrants retraction, but the author refuses to retract the article, the editor has the authority to retract it without the author’s consent. This is considered the editor's right and responsibility concerning the article.
Roles and Responsibilities of Peer Reviewers
1. Peer Reviewers must adhere to ethical standards and maintain confidentiality. They must not disclose any information about the article under review to unrelated parties during the evaluation period.
2. Peer Reviewers must focus on the quality of the article, adhering to academic principles and ensuring it aligns with the journal’s objectives. They should evaluate articles strictly according to the journal’s evaluation criteria, without bias.
3. Peer Reviewers should evaluate articles in their area of expertise, considering the significance of the content to the field, the quality of the analysis, and the depth of the research. Reviewers may highlight significant studies related to the article being reviewed that the author has not cited. Personal opinions without supporting evidence should not influence the evaluation process.
4. Peer Reviewers must not use any part of the article's content for their own work.
5. Peer Reviewers must notify the editor immediately if they discover any part of the article that is identical or overlaps with another work.
6. Peer Reviewers must strictly follow the evaluation form provided. If there are any suggestions beyond the content evaluated, they should provide clear, written comments.
7. Peer Reviewers must have sufficient knowledge, understanding, and expertise in the subject matter of the article they are reviewing. If they feel unqualified, they should inform the editor immediately and decline to review the article.
