The Study on the Proposal for the Safety School Development Strategy within the Framework of the Office of the Basic Education Commission on Accident Prevention and Correction Measures: A Case Study of High School in Hua Hin Municipality, Prachuabkhirikhan Province

Abstract

This study aims to study 1) the readiness and factors for approaching to be the safety schools development and 2) the proposal for the safety school development strategy and the guidelines within the framework of the Office of the Basic Education Commission on accident prevention and correction measures. The research samplings comprise teachers and students from 4 high schools in Hua Hin Municipality, Prachuabkhirikhan province.

          The findings of the research were: 1) Four high schools in Hua Hin Municipality, Prachuabkhirikhan province are ready in the six dimensions. 2)The proposal for the safety school development strategy and guidelines for safety school within the framework of the office of the basic education commission on accident prevention and correction measures can be concluded 3 strategies and summarized as follows: The first strategy involves preparation to become the safety school. The second strategy involves target determination and planning. The final strategy is related to the mechanisms for mobilizing the safety school.
