Abstract

    A research entitled Innovative Human Resource Management of Thailand to Create Competitive Advantages in the ASEAN Community: A case study of Siam Cement Thailand Public Company Limited and Advanced Info Service Public Company Limited which are the successful private companies showed the results that these two companies had adopted the concept of knowledge management processed: (1) to develop personnel (2) to increase the efficiency in work for competition and (3) to build knowledge and innovation. The concepts and models used were the knowledge management model, emphasizing on the process of creating and transferring knowledge through TAKUECHI’s SECI Knowledge Spiral model. Scope of operation were as follows: Set up the planning unit responsible, coordinate with sub-divisions to manage knowledge, design the variety for methods and tools used, use of information technology consisting of learn and share forum.
