The Context and Operation Guidelines for Digital Tourism Business

Abstract
The development of digital technologies, both information and telecommunication causes changes in tourism industry. Entrepreneurs in tourism industry must unite themselves as an integrated virtual organization to create values for tourists around the world. The entrepreneurs have to use digital marketing, including digital marketing communication through social media among tourists in the digital based countries that use social media as a facilitating tool for planning their tourism, and especially, they gave the importance to online referral of their tourism exposure which they used to visit that location before. Therefore, the entrepreneurs must provide the spaces in social media for tourist to share their experiences and impressions among real and virtual friends. Besides the digital marketing, the entrepreneurs must also have engagement and interaction with tourists on digital spaces as well.
