Abstract
Students Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University”. The purposes of this research were to develop of Communication Model for Enrolling in Distance Education Of Undergraduate Students Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University (STOU). The steps in the development model has three phases: study the current state and desirable condition, develop the model and evaluate the model and certify the model. The samples consisted of two officers that the registration head officer or the registration officer is responsible for the registration, the staff of the Regional Distance Education Center of STOU, five centers for each of them, three officers for each of the Regional Distance Education Center total 15 officers, and undergraduates or graduate students. Bachelor 400 students of Sukhothai Thammathirat University. The results were as follows: The model uses communication theory consisting of the messenger, the message, the channel, and the receiver. The important steps of the message consisted of 1) Notification of enrollment in the academic calendar. 2) Examination of the curriculum structure by year of study. 3) Examine the set of subjects that were not allowed to register as a free elective. 4) Show the set of subjects that can be registered. According to the curriculum structure of the students. 5) Choose a registered course. 6) Select a payment channel. 7) If select the payment channel do not debit or credit card, attach the image file to login (waiting to check within 5 working days) 8) Choose to print a copy of the receipt. The result of the opinions of the experts found that the model was consistent with the communication, it can reduce the time of registration. Reduce errors in the curriculum structure checking by year of enrollment. Reduced errors in registering a set of subjects that do not allow enrollment into a free elective course. Reduced errors due to bad key registration staff. Reducing errors due to sending mail by registered mail may be delayed or lost.
