Antecedents and Consequences of Probationary Teacher’s Work Engagement in Primary Schools under the Office of the Basic Education Commission

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to study direct effect the relationship of the influence of Antecedents of Work Engagement Job Resources and Personal Resources toward Work Engagement of probationary teachers in primary schools under the Office of the Basic Education Commission. Using Samples teachers in primary schools under the Office of the Basic Education Commission. of 323 probationary teachers in primary schools under the Office of the Basic Education Commission. The research instrument was a questionnaire. The statistical analysis employed descriptive statistics, correlation coefficient analysis. Exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, including causal factor analysis with structural equation model. The results are as follows: 1) Job Resources and Personal Resources is Antecedents because they have direct effects on Work Engagement. 2) Work Engagement, Emotional Intelligence, and Job Performance had a causal relationship to each other, that is, Work Engagement had direct effects on Job Performance, and indirect influence through the emotional intelligence and 3) Causal Relationship Model of Antecedents and Consequences of Work Engagement of probationary teachers in primary schools are consistent with theory and empirical data. The model can explain 99 percent of the performance of probationary teachers.
