Abstract

The objectives of this research were to study perceptions of administrators toward work performance competency of secretaries in Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi and comparing perceptions of administrators toward work performance competency of secretaries in Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi. Comparing by, gender, age, position level, period of position. The study was a quantitative research. The sample was administrators in Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi which include the President, the Vice President, the Assistant to the President, the Deans, the Directors of the College or Divisions with a total of 41 people. The instruments of this research were questionnaires. The statistics applied in data analysis were mean, percentage, standard deviation, Pearson Correlation Coefficient by testing the difference between the 2 groups with t-test and testing the difference between more than 2 groups with f-test. The study indicated that, Perceptions of administrators toward work performance competency of secretaries in Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi. As a whole, the study found out that the highest and separated by category was the result of core competency and Functional Competency was the highest. On the separate sides were found out that organizational loyalty and duty, self- development, professionalism, creative communication, teamwork, public mind, analytical thinking, organizational awareness, concern for order were the highest and information seeking was a high level. By comparing, it was found that administrators’ gender, age, position level, period of position have different perceptions toward work performance competency of secretaries in Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi had no significant difference.
