Development of A Teacher’s Manual in Learning Management according to World-Class Standard School of Schools under The Secondary Educational Service Area Office 11 Surat Thani

Abstract
The objectives of this research were to 1) study the problems in learning management according to world-class standard school, 2) develop a teacher’s manual in learning management according to the world-class standard school, and 3) evaluate the implementation of a teacher’s manual in learning management according to a world-class standard school. The sample was 289 respondents including world–class standard school administrators and teachers. Data were collected by the questionnaire and were analyzed by the mean and standard deviation. Step 2 was used to develop a teacher’s manual in learning management according to a world-class standard school, in which item-objective congruence was evaluated by five experts. Step 3 was used to evaluate the implementation of a teacher’s manual in learning management according to a world-class standard school. The key informants were 85 teachers. Data were collected by a knowledge and understanding test and a suitability assessment form. The data were analyzed by mean, standard deviation, and t-test. The research findings were as follows. 1) The problems in learning management according to world-class standard school in overall were at a moderate level. 2)The scopes and components for the development of the manual were set as follows: cover; unit 1: introduction, objective, component, and content; unit 2: instructions; unit 3: student; and unit 4: curriculum and instruction. The analysis of the item-objective congruence index of all components was 0.80 or above. 3) The implementation evaluation of the manual showed that the post-test score of the knowledge and understanding test was higher than the pre-test score at a statistical significance level of .01. The suitability assessment of the manual was at a high level.
