Current Situations, Desirable Situations and Guideline for Developing Child Center Learning Process of Teacher in School Under The Secondary Educational Service Area Office 22 in Naknon Phanom Province

Abstract

The purposes of this research were 1) to study Current situations and desirable situations for the child center learning process of a teacher in school 2) to study need assessment for the child center learning process of a teacher in school and 3) to develop guidelines for child center learning process of a teacher in school under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office 22 in Nakhon Phanom Province. The samples were 368 school administrators and teachers followed Krejcie & Morgan’s table in the sample-size specification, and there were 4 instruments used in this research: (1) a questionnaire about the current situations with the consistency index equal (IC) of 1.00, the discrimination between .24 –.72,  and the reliability of .96 (2) a questionnaire about desirable situations with the consistency index equal (IC) of 1.00, the discrimination between .24 –.78  and the reliability of .97; (3) a structured-interview form with the consistency index equal (IC) of 1.00; and (4) a suitability and possibility assessment form of guidelines with the consistency index equal (IC) of 1.00. The results were as follows: 1) overall current situations of developmental guidelines were at the high level, and overall desirable situations of desirable situations were at the highest level. (2) The highest mean of the needs assessment was manage learning thought processes and real practice which can be applied to life 3) The guidelines revealed the suitability in the highest level and the possibility in the highest level.
