The Development of Teachers in Provision of Learning Experiences for Early Childhood Based on a High-Scope Concept in Schools of Krut, Pa Ron, Khlong Sa Network, Kanchanadit District, Surat Thani Primary Educational Service Area Office 1

Abstract
The objectives of this study were: 1) to study the state of provision of learning experiences; 2) to teachers’ development; and 3) to assess the development of teachers in the provision of learning experiences for early childhood based on a high-scope concept in schools of Krut, Pa Ron, Khlong Sa Network, Kanchanadit District, Surat Thani Primary Educational Service Area Office 1. This study was conducted using the action research method introduced by Kemmis and McTaggart. The target group involved 10 primary school teachers, who were selected by purposive sampling. Data were collected by a survey, a test, and a satisfaction questionnaire. The data were analyzed by percentage, mean, standard deviation, and t-test. The research findings were as follows: 1) The state of provision of learning experiences was at a moderate level overall; 2) The result of the development of teachers by using a workshop showed that teachers have more knowledge and understanding in the provision of learning experiences for early childhood based on a high-scope concept as the post-test score was higher than the pre-test score at a significance level of .05; and 3) The evaluation results of teachers’ development: (1) The knowledge and understanding of the provision of learning experiences based on a high-scope concept was in the highest level in overall; (2) The skills in the provision of learning experiences based on a high-scope concept was in the highest level in overall; and (3) The satisfaction with the development of teachers in the provision of learning experiences based on a high-scope concept was in the highest level in overall.
