Motivating Factors Affecting Financial Planning Of New Generation in Muang District, Pattani Province

Abstract
The objectives of this study were 1) to study the characteristics of financial planners and financial planning of the new generation in Muang District, Pattani Province; 2) to compare the financial planning of the new generation in Mueang District, Pattani Province with financial planners’ characteristics; and 3) to study the motivating factors that affected the financial planning of the new generation in Mueang District, Pattani Province. The sample used 398 financial planners and used a questionnaire as a tool to collect data. The statistics used in the data analysis represented frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, one-way ANOVA, and multiple regression analysis. The results of the research showed that 1) the financial planning of the new generation in Muang District, Pattani Province, was the highest level in all aspects. 2) The comparison of the financial planning of the new generation in Muang district, Pattani Province was classified by age, level of education, occupation, and average monthly income was statistically significant at the 0.05 level. 3) Motivation factors: knowledge of financial planning (X1), economic condition (X3), knowledge of information (X4), and financial planning style (X5) which affect the financial planning of the new generation in Muang District, Pattani Province. The effective to predict accounted for 66.30 percent. The equality of the model was Y = -0.302+ 0.264 (X1) + 0.186 (X3) +0.401 (X4) + 0.222 (X5)
