Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the components through confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) and the structural equation model (SEM) of work-life balance (WLB), human resources perception (PHRM), and organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) toward job performance (JB) in low-cost airline ground service staff. A quantitative approach was employed in this study. A total of 205 samples were collected using the questionnaire and the cluster sampling method on three low-cost airlines, with 70 samples each. CFA and SEM were the data analysis methods, and Cronbach’s alpha was 0.845. The results of this study found that WLB directly impacted OCB at 0.170. Also, WLB directly impacted JB at 0.270, while PHM affected OCB at 0.320. PHRM affected JB at 0.240. Finally, OCB influenced JB at 0.340. All hypotheses were accepted, including the structural equation model, which produced X2/Df = 1.773, CFI = 0.916, RMSEA = 0.049, RMR = 0.021, and TLI = 0.910. The new bits of knowledge illustrated that the business needed to be aware of management in two aspects (i.e., internal management and employee management) to improve job performance.
