Abstract

The purpose of this article is to present of administration guidelines for quality maintenance of small educational opportunity extension schools that can respond to the needs of the local community. School administrators are key personnel in educational institutions; they should be professional leaders who must have knowledge, competence, morality, and good professional ethics. This will lead to good educational management that is productive and efficient. School administrators should adhere to management principles for quality maintenance of small educational opportunity extension schools, including 1) leading the organization with vision 2) focusing on stakeholders 3) providing participation 4) managing systematic administration 5) developing organizational innovation; and 6) continuing quality improvement. The quality management process begins with 1) development planning, 2) development practice, 3) development monitoring, 4) development evaluation, and 5) continuous development. In driving the mission of the administration for quality maintenance of small educational opportunity extension schools, the main components are: 1) Educational management system development 2) Teacher and educational personnel quality development 3) Learner quality development 4) Educational curriculum development 5) Area-based networking and 6) Media, innovation, and educational technology development. The school that has been developed in all aspects of quality will yield the status of a small educational opportunity extension school with quality maintenance that can survive with the quality of basic education standards. It increases educational opportunities and quality learning by having all sectors of society involved in education management.
