Factors Related to the Quality of Life of Undergraduate Students in Thailand

Abstract

The objectives of this research are to: 1. study the level of quality of life in universities for undergraduate students in Thailand; 2. study student satisfaction in academics, social aspects, and facilities and services; 3. study the relationship between students' satisfaction with the quality of life in universities and 4. compare the levels of quality of life in universities of undergraduate students in Thailand classified by personal factors. It is quantitative research. The sample group used in the study were undergraduate students in Thailand. The tool used to collect data was a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using mean, standard deviation, t-test, one-way ANOVA, and Pearson's correlation coefficient. The research results found that the quality of life on campus overall is at a moderate level. When considering each aspect, it was found that the environmental aspect, in terms of physical health and social aspects, had a quality of life score at a moderate level. Meanwhile, students' satisfaction with the quality of life at the university overall is high; every aspect has a high level of satisfaction. But when considering each aspect, it was found that the social aspect was at the lowest level of satisfaction. In this regard, the sample group consisted of females and males, and samples belonging to different types of universities had different quality of life.
