The Administrative Factors and Educational Quality Assurance Results of Schools Under the Office of Nakhon Phanom Primary Educational Service Area 1

Abstract

This research aimed to: 1) study and 2) compare the administrative factors and educational quality assurance results of schools classified by school size for schools under Nakhon Phanom Primary Educational Service Area Office 1. The sample consisted of 150 teachers who were responsible for the educational quality assurance of schools. They followed Krejcie and Morgan’s tables in the sample size specification, and they were selected by stratified random sampling. There were 2 research instruments: (1) a questionnaire on school administrative factors with the Index of Item Congruence (IC) between.60-1.00, the discrimination between.36-.61, and the reliability of.94; and (2) a questionnaire on educational quality assurance results of schools with the Index of Item Congruence (IC) between.60-1.00, the discrimination between.68-.93, and the reliability of.92. The data were analyzed using percentage, mean, standard deviation, and t-tests (independent samples). The research results revealed that (1) the overall administrative factors of schools were at a high level. The overall educational quality assurance results of schools were at an excellent level. (2) In comparison, the overall administrative factors classified by school size revealed a statistically significant difference at the. 01.
