A Model for Enhancing the Efficiency of Elderly care Businesses Sustainably in Bangkok

Abstract

The objectives of this research are as follows: 1) To study the levels of variables, including entrepreneurial leadership, company policies, human resources, business management innovation, and enhancing the efficiency of elderly care businesses sustainably in Bangkok. 2) To examine the influence of entrepreneurial leadership, company policies, human resources, and business management innovation on enhancing the efficiency of elderly care businesses sustainably in Bangkok. 3) To develop a model for enhancing the efficiency of elderly care businesses sustainably in Bangkok. This research used a mixed methods approach: 1) quantitative research, with a sample of 340 people. Data collection was conducted using questionnaires, and data analysis was conducted using structural equation modeling. 2) qualitative research using in-depth interviews. The target group consisted of 20 individuals, including elderly care business owners and elderly care business experts in Bangkok. The research results revealed that:  1) The variables related to business management innovation, entrepreneurial leadership, human resources, and the sustainable enhancement of efficiency in elderly care businesses in Bangkok were at the highest level, while company policies were at a high level.  2) Entrepreneurial leadership, company policies, human resources, and business management innovation have a statistically significant impact on enhancing the efficiency of elderly care businesses sustainably in Bangkok at the .001 and .05 significance levels. 3) A Model for enhancing the efficiency of elderly care businesses sustainably called the LIPR Model (L = Entrepreneurial Leadership, I = Business Management Innovation, P = Company Policy, R = Human Resources). These findings can be applied as guidelines for policy formulation to improve the efficiency of the elderly care business for sustainable growth.
