The Ethical Behavior of School Administrators Affecting the Organizational Commitment of Teachers Under Nakhon Phanom Primary Educational Service Area Office 1

Abstract
This research aimed to 1) study the ethical behavior of school administrators classified by status and school size, 2) study the organizational commitment of teachers classified by status and school size, 3) study the relationship between the ethical behavior of school administrators to the organizational commitment of teachers, and 4) study the predictive power for the ethical behavior of school administrators affecting the organizational commitment of teachers under Nakhon Phanom Primary Educational Service Area Office 1. This employed a quantitative methodology. The sample consisted of 319 participants, including 61 school administrators and 258 teachers, scale questionnaires with reliability coefficients of .96 and .94, respectively. Data analysis employed descriptive statistics, t-tests, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation, and stepwise multiple regression analysis. The results revealed that: 1) the overall ethical behavior of school administrators was at a high level, with no significant differences based on school status or size; 2) the overall organizational commitment of teachers was at a high level, with no significant differences based on school status or size; 3) The ethical behavior of school administrators and the organizational commitment of teachers revealed relatively high level, with significance correlation at the .01; and 4) key predictors of the organizational commitment of teachers were respect, trust and justice, jointly predicting 53% of the variance.
