ภูมิภาคนิยมในการเมืองไทยของพรรคไทยรักไทยและพรรคเพื่อไทยในภาคเหนือ

บทคัดย่อ
การวิจัยเรื่อง ภูมิภาคนิยมในการเมืองไทยของพรรคไทยรักไทยและพรรคเพื่อไทยในภาคเหนือ เป็นการศึกษาเฉพาะความเป็นภูมิภาคนิยมที่มีต่อพรรคไทยรักไทยและพรรคเพื่อไทย การสร้างฐานเสียงสนับสนุนของพรรคฯ และกระบวนการกล่อมเกลาทางการเมืองของพรรคฯ ของคนใน 8 จังหวัดภาคเหนือตอนบน ด้วยวิธีการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ โดยการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลจากเอกสาร และจากการสัมภาษณ์แบบเจาะลึกกับผู้ให้ข้อมูลสำคัญ ได้แก่ กลุ่มนักการเมือง กลุ่มข้าราชการ และกลุ่มผู้นำชุมชน รวมจำนวน 20 คน ตลอดจนใช้วิธีการสังเกตกลุ่มตัวอย่าง และใช้การตรวจสอบข้อมูลแบบสามเส้าในการตรวจสอบข้อมูล ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ความเป็นภูมิภาคนิยมที่มีต่อพรรคไทยรักไทยและพรรคเพื่อไทยในภาคเหนือตอนบน ได้แก่ ความภูมิใจ ยึดมั่นถือมั่น และยังเชื่อมั่นในความเป็นพรรคการเมืองที่นำเอานโยบายประชานิยมเข้าถึงกลุ่มคนรากหญ้าในท้องถิ่น การสร้างฐานคะแนนเสียงของพรรคไทยรักไทยและพรรคเพื่อไทยในภาคเหนือตอนบน ได้แก่ การใช้ความนิยมของคนในท้องถิ่นที่มีต่อนโยบายประชานิยมของพรรค ชูเป็นประเด็นหลักในการสร้างฐานเสียง กระบวนการกล่อมเกลาทางการเมืองของพรรคไทยรักไทยและพรรคเพื่อไทยในภาคเหนือตอนบนนั้น พบว่า นโยบายประชานิยมและการอ้างเหตุการณ์ทางการเมืองในการต่อสู้เพื่อประชาธิปไตย ถูกนำมาใช้ในการกล่อมเกลาทางการเมืองผ่านการหาเสียงอย่างใกล้ชิดจากผู้ลงสมัครเลือกตั้งของพรรคในการสร้างฐานคะแนนเสียงจนเกิดเป็นภูมิภาคนิยม
