ภาวะผู้นำของนายกเทศมนตรีและประสิทธิผลของเทศบาลเมืองในประเทศไทย

บทคัดย่อ
วัตถุประสงค์การวิจัยครั้งนี้ คือ 1) เพื่อศึกษาระดับและเปรียบเทียบระดับภาวะผู้นำของนายกเทศมนตรี 2) เพื่อศึกษาระดับและเปรียบเทียบระดับของประสิทธิผลของเทศบาลเมืองในประเทศไทย เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลโดยการใช้แบบสอบถามบุคลากรของเทศบาลเมืองเขลางค์นคร เทศบาลเมืองศิลา เทศบาลเมืองท่าโขลง เทศบาลเมืองหนองปรือ เทศบาลเมืองหัวหิน เทศบาลเมืองควนลัง ที่เป็นตัวแทนรวมทั้งสิ้น 277 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการศึกษาคือ แบบสอบถาม (Questionnaire) สถิติที่ใช้การวิเคราะห์หาค่าความถี่ (Frequency) ค่าร้อยละ (Percentage) ค่าเฉลี่ย (Mean) ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน (S.D) ทดสอบสมมติฐานด้วย สถิติ T-test, F-test และการวิเคราะห์ความถดถอยเชิงพหุ (Multiple regression analysis) กำหนดนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.05 และ 0.01 ผลการวิจัยสรุปได้ว่า 1) ภาวะผู้นำการของนายกเทศมนตรีในแต่ละเทศบาลเมือง พบว่าโดยส่วนใหญ่แล้วนายกเทศมนตรีเทศบาลเมืองเขลางค์นคร ท่าโขลง และหัวหิน มีภาวะผู้นำด้านการสร้างแรงดลใจที่ดีมากที่สุด ส่วนนายกเทศมนตรีเทศบาลเมืองควนลัง หนองปรือ และศิลา มีภาวะผู้นำด้านการมีอิทธิพลที่ประกอบไปด้วยอุดมการณ์มากที่สุด 2) ประสิทธิผลของเทศบาลเมือง พบว่า เทศบาลเมืองศิลามีประสิทธิผลในการดำเนินงานมากที่สุด
