บทคัดย่อ
การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) ศึกษาข้อมูลด้านประชากรศาสตร์ที่ส่งผลต่อการตัดสินใจลงคะแนนเสียงเลือกตั้งนายกองค์การบริหารส่วนจังหวัดปทุมธานี 2) ศึกษาปัจจัยที่ส่งผลต่อการตัดสินใจลงคะแนนเสียงเลือกนายกองค์การบริหารส่วนจังหวัดปทุมธานี และ 3) เปรียบเทียบปัจจัยที่ส่งผลต่อการตัดสินใจไปลงคะแนนเสียงเลือกตั้งนายกองค์การบริหารส่วนจังหวัดปทุมธานี การวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงปริมาณ กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นผู้มีสิทธิ์ออกเสียงเลือกตั้งในจังหวัดปทุมธานี จำนวน 400 คน โดยสูตรคำนวณหาขนาดกลุ่มตัวอย่างของทาโร ยามาเน โดยใช้ระดับความผิดพลาดที่ 0.05 เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย คือ แบบสอบถาม สถิติที่ใช้ ได้แก่ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ยและค่าเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ทดสอบสมมุติฐานด้วยวิธีการวิเคราะห์ความแปรปรวนทางเดียว (One-way ANOVA) ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1) ในด้านข้อมูลส่วนบุคคล ส่วนใหญ่เป็นหญิง อายุ 31-40 ปี การศึกษาระดับประถมศึกษา รายได้ไม่เกิน 20,000 บาท 2) ปัจจัยที่ส่งผลต่อการตัดสินใจเลือกตั้ง 3 ด้านหลัก คือ ด้านคุณสมบัติของผู้สมัคร ประชาชนให้ความสำคัญกับความซื่อสัตย์สุจริตของผู้สมัคร ด้านคุณสมบัติของหัวหน้าพรรคการเมือง ต้องการหัวหน้าพรรคการเมืองที่มีความรับผิดชอบ และด้านคุณสมบัติของพรรคการเมือง ต้องการพรรคการเมืองที่เคยได้รับการเลือกตั้งมาก่อน ผลการเปรียบเทียบ พบว่าความแตกต่างด้านเพศ อายุ การศึกษา และรายได้เฉลี่ยต่อเดือน ไม่มีผลต่อการตัดสินใจเลือกตั้งอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (Sig. > 0.05) ความแตกต่างด้านอาชีพมีผลต่อการตัดสินใจเลือกตั้งในด้านคุณสมบัติของพรรคการเมืองอย่างมีนัยสำคัญ (Sig. < 0.05)
