The Guidelines to Develop Students’ Activity Organization in Preparation to enter ASEAN Community

Abstract
This research aimed to study conditions and problems of students’ activities organization and look for guidelines to develop students’ activities organization in preparation to enter ASEAN community. The research was conducted by using questionnaire and focus group discussion to gather opinions from students, lecturers and related officers of Rambhai Barni Rajabhat University. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics such as mean and standard deviation. In term of focus group discussion, the data were analyzed according to the specified issues descriptive analysis. The results of the study of the guidelines to develop students’ activities organization in preparation to enter ASEAN community consisted of consideration to adjust vision, mission, objective and goal, types of students’ activities, budgets for students’ activities, including regulations and rules of students’ activities organization in accordance with the changed situation, especially, to adjust in order to comply with ASEAN declaration on education, to develop students’ activity identity as specified by university, to promote sports in ASEAN and Thai’s art and culture preservation activities, and career skill preparation for students to support and comply with labor market needs
