The Use of Art Activity Develop Attention on Work of Children with Learning Disabilities and ADHD

Abstract

           The purpose of this study was to investigate the use of a series of art activities to develop attention on work of children with learning disabilities and ADHD.  The target groups used in this study were primary school students with learning disabilities diagnose by a doctor.  There is an overall ADHD score  from the screening test students with Kus-si Rating Scale (ADHD/LD/Autism)  was more than 51 points  amount 4 student  which was respondent by advisors. The research instrument was a set of art activities and observations form of the ability to attention on work by research assistants collecting data.  Analyzed by bringing the number of minutes of Attintion on work. Then the data is shown with tables and graphs.

            The revealed that, After the target group used a series of art activities to develop attention on work during the trial period (B).  With the number of minutes of ability to attention on work more in the same direction and when stopping the used of art activities during the stop (A2).  Found that the target group had more number of minutes of ability to attention on work than in the base line (A1) which is the step that has not yet adopted the art activities. Therefore saw a series of art activities to develop attention on work of learning disabilities with ADHD.  Can make the ability to attention on work tend to increase.
