Abstract

This article has the objective to points out that the factors influence the success of the non-profit organizations (NPOs) in Thailand still depends very much on the charismatic leadership. The charismatic leadership style of NPOs leader results in motivation, aspiration, admiration and reverence by people in the organizations. All these will eventually lead to self-sacrifice, archetypally, and cohesion of people in the organization. This would be an advantage for NPO's performance in Thailand. In addition, it was also found that leaders within the board members and board president have a strong charismatic leadership style,
particularly in terms of reputation, qualifications and socioeconomic status, which build credibility and respect from donors. So this type of leadership style will
result in the better performance of organizations.
