ELECTRONIC WASTE MANAGEMENT WITH REVERSE LOGISTICS

Abstract
Electronic waste has become a problem for the environment in many countries around the world. Government and electronic industry have been paying attention to problem of the high e-waste increase. Because of the product features, the ability to use and technology which make the product life cycle is shorter and shorter. This article presents an approach to manage e-waste with reverse logistics through a literature review, and models which using reduce e-waste both in Thailand and foreign countries. It was found that the product design, the responsibility of the manufacturers to protect the environment, the reverse logistics to reuse products, the reduction of production losses to a minimum, including the establishment of treatment facilities and the elimination of e-waste are the key success factors in e-waste management with logistics.
