STUDY EVALUATION TOOL FOR PUBLIC PARK SERVICE IN PHITSANULOK MUNICIPALITY

Abstract

The objective of this article was to present the evaluation tool for public park services in Phitsanulok Municipality, it was found that the construction of the appraisal apparatus based on the concepts derived from the literature review and interviews with those involved in the design of the park administration. Including park users by using a questionnaire technique designed to survey user satisfaction along with the level of giving important to each consideration. The questionnaire to assess the park services was a tool developed based on the concept of Dr. Noriaki Kano, who developed a model for assessing the potential of products and services through the relationship of expectation and satisfaction to the various aspects of that product by surveying of users' opinions. There were two types of questionnaires: a set of questions that asks about the necessity of one element; example of the question that if there was no such thing in the product, how difficult it for the user to used it (Dysfunctional Question) and the other one; a series of questions that ask about satisfaction with example questions that how satisfied may the user be (Functional Question) if there is such a thing in the product. The key indicators for quality and condition of the garden were 1) service radius 2) internal network 3) activity 4) landscape and perspective 5) design for the masses 6) sanitation 7) safety and 8) public relations.
