THE INTEGRATION PERT/CPM FOR COMMUNITY-BASED TOURISM DEVELOPMENT CASE-STUDY: PATH FOR VISITING WAT BANG HUA SUA

Abstract
The research objectives were to 1) explore travel networks and critical routes in traveling to Wat Bang Hua Sua (Bang Hua Sua Temple) by the CPM method, 2) examine the probability of traveling within the given time by the PERT method, 3) examine the suitable route for traveling to Wat Bang Hua Sua. The travel data were collected from 120 tourists who visited Wat Bang Hua Sua by private cars in four routes (30 people per route) , consisting of Pu Chao Saming Prai Municipality Road 9, Pu Chao Saming Prai Municipality Road 13, Pu Chao Saming Prai Municipality Road 19, and Pu Chao Saming Phrai Municipality Road 21 route. The data were analyzed using CPM and PERT techniques respectively. The results of the study were as follows. 1) The data analysis from CPM revealed that all four routes were critical pathways. 2) The data analysis PERT showed that the probability of traveling within the time limit was 97.44, 60.64, 99.66 and 99.97, percent respectively 3) The suitable route for traveling to Wat Bang Hua Sua is Pu Chao Saming Prai Municipality Road 21, the average travel time is 25 minutes; The probability of travelling time accounted for 99.97 percent.
