USING INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY IN STUDENT CARE AND SUPPORT SYSTEM MANAGEMENT IN DIGITAL AGE OF MAE TUEN WITTAYAKOM IN OMKOI DISTRICT, CHIANG MAI PROVINCE

Abstract
The purposes of this research on using information technology in student care and support system management in digital age of Mae Tuen Wittayakom in Omkoi District, Chiang Mai Province were: 1) to investigate the use of information technology in student care and support system management in digital age of Mae Tuen Wittayakom in Omkoi District, Chiang Mai Province and 2) to explore the guidelines for developing the use of information technology in student care and support system management in digital age of Mae Tuen Wittayakom in Omkoi District, Chiang Mai Province. The sample of this study were thirty-two school teachers and directors. The statistical analyses were frequency, percentage, average, and standard deviation. The results showed that the overall use of information technology in student care and support system management in digital age of Mae Tuen Wittayakom in Omkoi District, Chiang Mai Province was high such as knowing individual student, student screening, student promotion, prevention and resolution, and. student transfer. The guidelines for developing the use of information technology in student care and support system management in digital age of Mae Tuen Wittayakom in Omkoi District, Chiang Mai Province were that the stable system should be developed, student information should be kept completely, and teacher and student’s activities should be recorded in the system in order to work out and save the budget of printing papers, and the information system lacked stability in gathering all the information of the students to be used as transferring information, partly due to the lack of understanding and use of the information system
