Abstract

The objectives of this study were to analyze leadership and study elements of leadership of successful female executives in vocational education institutions under the Commission on Vocational Education in Bangkok using survey questionnaire to collect data from 400 educational personnel working in vocational education institutions under the Commission on Vocational Education in Bangkok. The research employed descriptive and inferential statistics to analyze, test relationships of veriables and to test hypothesis. The findings found successful female executives in vocational education institutions under the Commission on Vocational Education in Bangkok had separated leadership at highest level followed by task oriented, integrated, and related ledership at high level respectively. The respondents’s attitude towards female executives in overall was high, also, high satisfaction, with motivation. The respendents believed that the executives could be able to lead them to work and reach the goals. Moreover, the findings also found the respondents with different personal profiles had no different percecption on leaderships of female executives. The findings also found the respondents with different personal profiles had no different perceptions on the female executives’ success. Finally, the findings found significant relationships between 4 types of leaderships and the female executives’ achievements (attitude, acceptance, motivation, satisfaction of colleages, and ability to lead for the success) at significant level 0.05.
