Guidelines for Enhancing the Potential of Cultural Tourism Management, Wat Nong Pho, Nakhon Sawan Province

Abstract

This research aims 1) to study the potential of cultural tourism management,  Wat Nong Pho, Nakhon Sawan Province and 2) to propose guidelines for enhancing  the potential of cultural tourism management, Wat Nong Pho, Nakhon Sawan Province. This research is a quantitative research and qualitative research. The quantitative data can be obtain from 152 tourists visiting Wat Nong Pho that used for collecting data were the questionnaires and qualitative data can be obtained from  workshops with stakeholders, including the state sectors, private sectors, people sectors, 16 people. The analysis was separated into two parts; 1) quantitative data  analysis from the questionnaire by descriptive statistics such as frequency, percentage  and average and 2) qualitative data analysis from interviews by analyzing content.

Research has found that: Potential of cultural tourism management, Wat  Nong Pho, Nakhon Sawan in the overall was high level. The guidelines for enhancing  to develop potential of cultural tourism management, Wat Nong Pho, Nakhon Sawan  Province. Should be a tourism management model in order to promote tourism to  balance in cultural, social and economic dimensions that will lead to sustainable  cultural tourism develop management. are as follow: 1) community participation  example tourism service training for involving people and 2) arrange the various kinds  of tourism program which promote the cultural tourism program.
