Transformational Leadership Perception towards Participation of the Star Health Promoting Hospital Quality Development among Public Health Personnel, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province

Abstract

This cross-sectional analytical research is the analysis of the relationship of personal attributes factors, recognition of Transformational Leadership, and participation in performance, according to Quality Standards of the Star Health Promoting Hospital, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, to reflect the effectiveness of team collaboration and organizational development.  Samples are 237 health personnel working in sub-district health promotion hospitals, Nakhon Si Thammarat province. Multi-stage sampling method was used to collect data, with questionnaires.  Data analysis for descriptive statistics, and hypotheses testing with dual logistic regression statistics were conducted.

Results indicated the followings: 1) The majority of respondents were females (82.7%), 39.2% was less than 35 years old, 86.5% had a bachelor degree, 47.26% was a registered nurse, 31.65% was Public Health Academics and 80.17% being a civil servant, 24.47% had 5-9 years working experience, and 95.78% had experience in the development of Sub-district Health Promotion Hospital in module, and 83.97% had a Standard of Dao Sub-district Health Promoting Hospital.  2) High perception level of transformational leadership at 91.56% 3) High level of participation among healthcare workers was 97.05%. 4) Factors correlated
