Promoting Health Behavior of University Students: A Systematic Review

This systematic review constructed a comprehensive conceptual framework for promoting health behaviour of university students. PRISMA was used to select quality and related documents to the purpose of study. Based on the PRISMA guidelines, 18,192 articles were screened from databases such as PubMed, Web of Science and Google Scholar, and 23 core studies were finally included. Concept analysis method was used to develop the conceptual framework. Thematic analysis technic was use for data analysis. Key attributes include improving physical health, enhancing psychological health, encouraging social adaptation, making life and study balance, increasing comprehensive literacy and growth, which are jointly influenced by individual, social and environmental, and developmental and adaptive factors. The consequences of promoting health behaviour of university student are the aspect of an individual, social and environment, and extended impact. The framework emphasizes the interrelationships among antecedents. attributes and consequences of promoting health behaviour of university students. The framework provides theoretical and practical guidance for educational institutions and policy makers to strengthen health promotion efforts. The research results are not only reflected in the improvement of university students' academic performance and personal well-being, but also have a positive impact on the overall health level and sustainable development of society. In addition, further researches could be studied based on the conceptual framework as well as further determined to achieve model of promoting health behavior of university students.
