บทคัดย่อ

โรคติดเชื้อไวรัสโคโรนา 2019 (โรคโควิด 19) มีการระบาดอย่างกว้างขวางทั่วโลกและในประเทศไทย อาสาสมัครสาธารณสุขประจำหมู่บ้าน (อสม.) มีความใกล้ชิดกับประชาชนและช่วยให้การป้องกันและควบคุมโรคมีประสิทธิภาพ การวิจัยเชิงสำรวจภาคตัดขวางนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อประเมินบทบาทและปัจจัยที่สัมพันธ์กับบทบาทการป้องกันและควบคุมโรคโควิด 19 ของ อสม. เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลโดยการสัมภาษณ์กลุ่มตัวอย่าง อสม. ที่ปฏิบัติงานในอำเภอเมือง จังหวัดนครราชสีมา จำนวน 385 คน วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลและนำเสนอผลด้วยร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และ Chi-square test

            ผลการศึกษาพบว่า อสม. ปฏิบัติบทบาทการป้องกันและควบคุมโรคโควิด 19 ในชุมชนระดับพอใช้ร้อยละ 48.8  ระดับดีร้อยละ 33.5 และระดับควรปรับปรุงร้อยละ 17.7 ปัจจัยที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับบทบาทการป้องกันและควบคุมโรคอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (p < 0.05) ได้แก่ การได้รับการฝึกอบรม การรับรู้เกี่ยวกับโรค ความเพียงพอของอุปกรณ์การดำเนินงานในชุมชน และการได้รับการสนับสนุนบทบาทการเป็น อสม. ผลการวิจัยบ่งชี้ว่าควรส่งเสริมบทบาทของ อสม. โดยการพัฒนาศักยภาพในด้านการสื่อสารและวิธีให้คำแนะนำแก่กลุ่มเป้าหมาย ควรจัดระบบการสนับสนุนบทบาทของ อสม. อย่างต่อเนื่องควบคู่ไปกับการประชาสัมพันธ์ เฝ้าระวัง และสร้างสภาพแวดล้อมชุมชนที่ปลอดภัยจากโรคโควิด 19
