การประเมินความต้องการจำเป็นของสมรรถนะทันตาภิบาล ในโรงพยาบาลส่งเสริมสุขภาพตำบลจังหวัดสุพรรณบุรี

การศึกษาครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อกำหนดสมรรถนะของทันตาภิบาล ประเมินและจัดลำดับความต้องการจำเป็นของสมรรถนะทันตาภิบาล ในโรงพยาบาลส่งเสริมสุขภาพตำบลจังหวัดสุพรรณบุรี จากมุมมองของทันตาภิบาลและผู้บังคับบัญชา การวิจัยนี้เป็นการวิจัยแบบผสมผสาน (Mixed Methods Research) โดยศึกษาแบบขั้นตอนเชิงสำรวจ (Exploratory Sequential Design) ดำเนินการวิจัยแบ่งเป็น 2 ระยะ คือ ระยะที่ 1 เป็นการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ (Qualitative Research) ผ่านการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกของผู้ให้ข้อมูลสำคัญ จำนวน 9 คน เพื่อสร้างกรอบสมรรถนะในการสร้างเครื่องมือ และระยะที่ 2 การวิจัยเชิงปริมาณ (Quantitative Research) โดยใช้แบบสอบถามที่ออกแบบมาจากการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกกับกลุ่มประชากรทั้งหมดจำนวน 160 คน ซึ่งประกอบด้วย ทันตาภิบาล 80 คน และผู้บังคับบัญชา 80 คน แล้วนำมาวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลเพื่อจัดลำดับความต้องการจำเป็นด้วยเทคนิค Modified Priority Needs Index (PNImodified)
ผลการศึกษาพบว่า ทั้งกลุ่มทันตาภิบาลและผู้บังคับบัญชามีความเห็นสอดคล้องกันว่าสมรรถนะที่มีความต้องการจำเป็นสูงสุดคือด้านความรู้ (PNImodified = 0.196 และ 0.232) รองลงมาคือด้านทักษะ (PNImodified = 0.172 และ 0.203) และด้านคุณลักษณะส่วนบุคคล (PNImodified = 0.137 และ 0.097) ตามลำดับ โดยสมรรถนะรายด้านที่มีความต้องการจำเป็นสูงสุด ได้แก่ ความรู้ด้านการประยุกต์ใช้นวัตกรรม , ทักษะในการตัดสินใจและให้การดูแลเบื้องต้นในภาวะฉุกเฉินทางทันตกรรม และคุณลักษณะด้านการจัดทำนวัตกรรมด้านสุขภาพและทันตสุขภาพ ผลการวิจัยสามารถใช้เป็นแนวทางในการกำหนดทิศทางการพัฒนาบุคลากร การพัฒนาหลักสูตร ฝึกอบรม กำหนดนโยบายและเกณฑ์มาตรฐานเกี่ยวกับสมรรถนะของทันตาภิบาลที่สอดคล้องกับภารกิจของโรงพยาบาลส่งเสริมสุขภาพตำบลต่อไป
