The relationship between perception and understanding the Computer-related Crime Act B.E.2560

Abstract

           This study was based on a qualitative study. The objective was to find the relationship between perception and understanding of students towards the Computer-related Crime Act B.E. 2560. The questionnaire was used for data collection. The sample was 322 high vocational certificate and bachelor students from the Department of Information Technology and Computer Business, Faculty of Business Administration and Information Technology, Rajamangala University of Technology Suvarnabhumi, Nonthaburi campus.
          The results showed that most of students perceived overall of the Computer-related Crime Act B.E.2560 at a high level. They also understood the content of the Act at a high level. Moreover, it was found that the perception of students towards the Computer-related Crime Act B.E. 2560 was related with the understanding the content of the Act, having the correlation coefficient of 0.864.
