A Follow-up Study of Bachelor degree of graduates in Library and Information Sciences, Faculty of Humanities and Social Science

Abstract

                  The purpose of this research was to study the rate of employment types of work average income per month for graduate in Library and Information Sciences and to study suggestion instruction for graduate in Library and Information Sciences in Academic year 2015. The research population were 26 graduates from the field Library and Information Sciences in Academic year 2015. The research tool for data collecting was questionnaire. The statistics used for analyzing the data were Frequency and percentage.
            Results were concluded to be as follows :
          1) Status Most graduates were female 19 ( percent 73.07) 2) Employment (92.31 percent) of graduates were employed. 1-2months look for work (54.16 percent) and have work problem (59.09 percent) Most problems were English communication and use to computer in office. 3) Type of work (54.17 percent) of graduates worked in non government and 95.83 percent of graduates worked not relative field. 4) Problems found in work (79.17 percent) of graduates not have problems in work, for the largest Group (44.45 percent) their work and their field of study were in consistent. 5) Income (45.83 percent) of graduates have a monthly income over of 15,000 baht. 6) Application of Knowledge and Satisfy Most graduates think that they can make use of knowledge studies to moderate degree (75.00 percent) and were satisfied in their work to a middle degree (70.83 percent) 7) Suggestion Most graduates offered to plus Computer in office and English communication instruction for students in Library and Information Sciences
