THE COMPARISONS OF CRITERION INDICATORS FOR SMART PEOPLE EVALUATION

Smart People is an important component of being a Smart City. In order to attain this status, smart people indicators must be developed. In this regard, international organizations and many cities have developed smart people indicators. This research aims to analyze and compare the indicators of smart living which have been developed by international organizations and smart cities around the world such as ISO, EU, Barcelna, Singapore, Japan, and Indonesia.
The results from this research indicate that in order to be recognized as having the
characteristics of smart people, smart cities must institutionalize: 1) participative 2) educated 3) open-minded 4) creative 5) be able to learn. Within these four aspects of smart people, there are several indicators that should be observed.
