Abstract

The purpose of this research was to analyze the innovative development factors affecting the educational quality of secondary schools under the Office of Secondary Educational Service Area, Sor Por Mor 28 and Sor Por Mor 29. 25 experts were interviewed about the definition and variables used to measure the results of this research. Then this was used to create a questionnaire for data collection from directors, the deputy directors, head teachers and personnel of the secondary school total of 325 people. The gathering data was analyzed with statistical analysis, analysis of mean and standard deviation, frequency and percentage correlation coefficient analysis, analysis of variance and multiple regression analysis in order to obtain factors related to development. The research found that factors of innovative development that affect the quality of education of secondary schools consist of new methods in teaching and learning management, measurement methods, and classroom research that can explain the variance in the quality of education of secondary schools with a statistical significance of .05.  In addition, it was found that Educational innovation had medium mean while the quality of education was at a high level. However, both variables are related in the same direction with statistically significant .01. The use of research results to make policy requirements for school directors including guidelines creation as well as a genuine evaluation of the education quality with participatory teachers in all levels naturally helps high schools to have quality that meets the actual conditions of each school.
