Abstract

The objective of this research is to study the factors within the organization that effect on the performance of the business in Nakhon Sawan Province. The conceptual framework of this study was derived from the study of the performance and the resource base theory. This study employed the quantitative research methodologies. The questionnaire was used as an instrument to collected data from 80 executives of businesses in Nakhon Sawan Province. Techniques of statistical analysis used were Exploratory Factor Analysis and structural Equation Modeling.


The research findings indicated that the resources within the organization, including (1) the reputation of the organization resources, (2) financial resources, and (3) physical resources have a positive effect on the performance of the business (return on investment, the ability to make a profit, market share and sales), while the human resources has negative effect on the performance of the business (return on investment, the ability to make a profit, market share and sales).
