Abstract
The purpose of this research was to study and compare opinions towards the importance of factors affecting students' choice of internships in workplaces at undergraduate level, Faculty of Engineering, Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna, Chiang Mai. The sample used in the research was 300 students from the transfer program and the 4th year of the regular program, academic year 2019. Data were collected by a questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive statistics, T test, and one-way analysis of variance and pairwise comparison. The results showed that most important factors affecting the selection of internships in workplaces of students were environmental factors, the students, and the image of the workplace respectively. When comparing the opinions towards factors affecting the selection of internships in the workplace of students, it was found that there were differences among the factors of the image of the workplace, environment, and the students classified by gender. When classifying by curriculum, it was found that there were no differences in all aspects. However, when classifying by branch, it was found that Mechanical Engineering Department emphasized on the students factor which was different from other branches at the statistical significance level of .05
