Integration of Cultural Ways of Practices in ASEAN Community on ASEAN Studies

Abstract

                 The objectives aimed to investigate cultural ways of practices in the ASEAN community, to disseminate cultural practices through ASEAN studies, and to evaluate the application of the body of knowledge of cultural practices through ASEAN studies. The qualitative approach was applied. Data was collected by means of documentary studies, interviews and a workshop. The participants were 54 ASEAN studies teachers in Loei and Nongbualambhu provinces. Data was analyzed by content analysis and to obtain percentage. The results were as follows: There were many cultural ways of practices, dos and don’ts in ASEAN community. The understanding represented the politeness and how people perceived and paid respect to various cultural practices. The insulting behaviors must be avoided. The practices should be delicately concerned. The acceptance could lead to building ASEAN collaborative identity. And, the dissemination of cultural ways of practices should be gradually provided in ASEAN studies support. This should be inserted and acknowledged in various activities alongside teaching and learning processes such as documents, bulletin boards, exhibitions, displays, performances, role-plays, discussions and quizzes. Every direction was ranked more than 80 %. Besides, the evaluation indicated that all teachers were satisfied with all activities that could be the directions for applying both dos and don’ts through ASEAN studies. The exhibitions of National days of ASEAN countries, bulletin boards and role-plays were key activities to enhance better understanding of cultural practices in ASEAN community.

                 การวิจัยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาวิถีปฏิบัติด้านวัฒนธรรมในประชาคมอาเซียน เพื่อค้นหาวิธีการเผยแพร่ องค์ความรู้วิถีปฏิบัติด้านวัฒนธรรมในประชาคมอาเซียนผ่านการสอนอาเซียนศึกษา และเพื่อศึกษาผลการนำองค์ความรู้วิถีปฏิบัติด้านวัฒนธรรมในประชาคมอาเซียนไปใช้ในการเรียนการสอนอาเซียนศึกษา ใช้ระเบียบวิธีวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพได้แก่ การศึกษาเอกสาร การสัมภาษณ์ และการประชุมเชิงปฏิบัติการ กลุ่มเป้าหมายคือครูสอนอาเซียนศึกษาในจังหวัดเลย และจังหวัดหนองบัวลำภู จำนวน 54 คน การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยการวิเคราะห์เชิงเนื้อหา และการหาค่า ร้อยละ ผลการวิจัยพบว่าวิถีปฏิบัติด้านวัฒนธรรมวัฒนธรรมประชาคมอาเซียนมีวิถีปฏิบัติด้านวัฒนธรรมที่หลากหลายทั้งด้านสิ่งที่พึงปฏิบัติและไม่พึงปฏิบัติ การรับรู้และความเข้าใจในวิถีวัฒนธรรมสะท้อนถึงการเคารพในวัฒนธรรม พฤติกรรมที่แสดงถึงการดูหมิ่นเป็นสิ่งที่ต้องหลีกเลี่ยงอย่างยิ่งวิถีวัฒนธรรมเป็นสิ่งที่ละเอียดอ่อน ความเข้าใจและการยอมรับนำไปสู่การสร้างอัตลักษณ์ร่วมกัน  ในการเผยแพร่วิถีวัฒนธรรมประชาคมอาเซียนผ่านการสอนอาเซียนศึกษาควรดำเนินการในรายวิชาและกิจกรรมอาเซียนศึกษาอย่างค่อยเป็นค่อยไป ควรสอดแทรกสร้างการรับรู้และความเข้าใจผ่านกิจกรรมการเรียนการสอนด้วยวิธีการการจัดทำเอกสาร การจัดป้ายนิเทศ การจัดนิทรรศการ การแสดงละคร การแสดงบทบาทสมมติ การอภิปรายและการแข่งขันตอบปัญหา การจัดอันดับทุกวิธีการเกินร้อยละ 80  และผลการนำองค์ความรู้วิถีวัฒนธรรมไปใช้ในการสอนอาเซียนศึกษา พบว่า ครูนำไปใช้ในการจัดกิจกรรมเสริมการเรียนการสอนอาเซียนศึกษา วิธีการที่สำคัญคือการจัดนิทรรศการวันชาติของแต่ละประเทศร่วมกับการจัดป้ายนิเทศและการแสดงบทบาทสมมติ
