The Preparation of Household Accounts, the Case Study of Huai Sai Sub-District, Mae Rim District, Chiang Mai Province

Abstract

             This research aimed to study an existing household accounts at Ban Huai Sai Sub-District Mae Rim District Chiang Mai and to regulate the existing accounting making them more suitable. The population were 4,716 people in Ban Huai Sai Sub-District, Mae Rim District, Chiang Mai Province. The key participants were 25 people at Ban Huai Sai Sub-District, Mae Rim District Chiang Mai Province who were interested in participating in the research project. The study instrument for data collection were questionnaire and the interview form. The results showed that most people in the community had been trained to record household accounts. Some people had never known household accounts. However, some people had previously recorded household income and expenses but never training in household accounts. Moreover, the development of household accounts, Ban Huay Sai community revealed that the household account book designed by the researchers had the suitable size of the book and the size of the letter. The book also had a format that was easy to understand. But should add water expense which was a regular expense and necessary for every household.
