The Management Pattern for Revenue-Generating Activities to Enhance the Economic Value to the Elderly in Chonanbot Municipality, Chonnabot District, Khon Kean Province

Abstract

                 The research titled the management pattern for revenue-generating activities to enhance the economic value to the elderly in Chonnabot municipality, Chonnabot district, Khon Kaen province aimed at studying the context of elderly in Chonnabot municipality, Chonnabot district, Khon Kaen province to create revenue-generating activities and conducting a workshop on the revernue-generating activities to the elderly. A qualitative research methodology was adopted with elderly from senior school in Chonnabot municipality, Chonnabot district, Khon Kaen province through interview, focus group and group meeting. The data was analyzed by content analysis technique.

                 The research result found that most elderly were government retirees and farmers. The revenue-generating activities derived from activities that could work in group or individual which were dish washing liquid, liquid soap, fabric softener, and multi-purpose cleaning liquid in order to reduce the household expense. These activities focused on easy and practical process using local materials and were based on the elderly’s demand and support from local organizations.
