Knowledge, Attitude and Behaviors Among Workers Excreta Management in Nakhon Ratchasima Province

Abstract

               The objectives of this research were to investigate level of knowledge, attitudes and behaviors about excreta management of worker; and to study relationship between knowledge, attitudes and behaviors with excreta management of workers in Nakhon Ratchasima province. Data were collected from a sample of 76 people through questionnaires. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and inferential statistics Pearson correlation methods.

                The results show that a majority of the workers are male (80.3%) and graduated Secondary School (48.7). The questionnaires show that (85.5%) of the workers marriage and that (72.4%) of the workers are company employee. Among the questioned workers, (52.6%) have a monthly income less than 10,000 Bath. The largest group of workers are experience between 6-10 years (43.3%). The knowledge in excreta management was ranked at high level of one hundred percent, attitude was ranked at good (gif.latex?\small&space;\bar{X}=2.97, S.D.= ±0.11) level of one hundred percent and behavior in excreta  management  was ranked at good (gif.latex?\small&space;\bar{X}=2.76, S.D.= ±0.22) level of one hundred percent. There was a positive relationship between knowledge and behaviors excreta management of workers in Nakhon Ratchasima  province at p < .05
