วิเคราะห์การใช้คำยืมภาษาอังกฤษในเพลงลูกทุ่งอีสาน : กรณีศึกษาผลงานเพลงของสาวมาด เมกะแดนซ์

Abstract

การศึกษาวัตถุประสงค์ของวิจัย มีดังนี้ 1) เพื่อวิเคราะห์คำและจำแนกประเภทคำยืมภาษาอังกฤษที่พบใน บทเพลงของสาวมาด เมกะแดนซ์ และ 2) เพื่อศึกษาลักษณะของคำยืมภาษาอังกฤษที่พบในบทเพลงของสาวมาด เมกะแดนซ์

กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการศึกษา ได้แก่ ผลงานเพลง 35 เพลงจากอัลบั้ม 7 อัลบั้ม ระหว่างปี พ.ศ. 2549-2555 ซึ่งได้มาโดยวิธีการสุ่มอย่างง่าย โดยแต่ละอัลบั้มเพลงจะสุ่มเพลงจำนวน 5 เพลงของสาวมาด เมกะแดนซ์มาวิเคราะห์ เครื่องมือที่ใช้ คือ พจนานุกรมไทย และพจนานุกรมอังกฤษ-ไทย โดยการวิเคราะห์คำยืมภาษาอังกฤษที่ปรากฏในพจนานุกรม ผลการวิจัยพบว่า จำนวนคำที่พบในบทเพลงทั้งหมด 35 เพลง คือ 3,887 คำ เป็นคำยืมภาษาอังกฤษจำนวน 211 คำ คิดเป็นร้อยละ 5.43 โดยพบว่า จำนวนคำยืมภาษาอังกฤษมากที่สุด คือ อัลบั้มชุดที่ 3 คิดเป็นร้อยละ 7.76 รองลงมาคือ อัลบั้มชุดที่ 5 คิดเป็นร้อยละ 7.37 และอัลบั้มชุดที่ 6 คิดเป็นร้อยละ 6.35 ตามลาดับ การวิเคราะห์ประเภทของคำยืมภาษาอังกฤษ พบว่า จำนวนคำนามมากที่สุด คิดเป็นร้อยละ 60.19 รองลงมาคือคำกริยา คิดเป็นร้อยละ 24.17 คำกริยาวิเศษณ์และคำคุณศัพท์ คิดเป็นร้อยละ 4.74 ตามลาดับ ลักษณะของคำยืมภาษาอังกฤษที่ใช้ในบทเพลง พบว่า มี 2 ลักษณะ คือ การทับศัพท์ คิดเป็นร้อยละ 87.68 และเปลี่ยนเสียงโดยการตัดพยางค์ คิดเป็นร้อยละ 12.32

An Analysis of English Loan Words in Thai E-sarn Folksongs : A Case Study of Saomat Megadance

The purposes of this study were: 1. to analyze English loan words appeared in E-sarn folksong of Saomat Megadance 2. to identify the English loan words found in the songs of Saomat Megadance.

The sample of the study comprised 35 target songs purposively selected from 7 albums, produced between year 2006 to 2012. Five songs of each album were chosen for the analysis. Thai Dictionary and English-Thai Dictionary were used in the study, to analyze English loan words appeared in the dictionary. The study found 3,887 words in the 35 target songs, and 211 English loan words were found in those songs which was 5.43 percent of the total words. Most of English loan words were found as much as 7.76 percent in the third album, 7.37 percent in the fifth album, and 6.35 percent in the sixth album. In the light of the part of speech of the loan words, most of them were nouns (60.19 percent), the second was verbs (24.17 percent) and the last were modifiers, adjectives and adverbs (4.74 percent). English words found in the songs were used directly in the full form (87.68 percent) and used by reducing the syllables (12.32 percent).
