Abstract

This paper is a survey research which its objectives were to study the competency of Kalasin Buddhist
College, Mahamakut Buddhist University pre-service students in field of the 21st century learning construction
for school students and to compare the pre-service students’ competency according to variables as sex, status,
and school size. The samples were 7 pre-service students and forty students, mentoring teachers and
administers. The research instrument was the questionnaire. The statistics to be employed to analyze the data
were frequency, mean, standard deviation, Mann Whitney U and Kruskal Wallish H. The findings of this research
were revealed that the competency of pre-service students in field of the 21st century learning for school students
was at the highest level and the hypotheses testing were found that status and school size of respondents had
significant differences on opinion about the pre-service students in field of the 21st century learning construction
for school students at the 0.01 level
