Aims & Scope :
The Rajabhat Maha Sarakham University Journal is an academic journal that disseminate academic and research articles covering in the humanities and social sciences. The subjects that published are
- education
- economics
- business administration and management
- political science
- public admin-istration
- law
- linguistics
- psychology and interdisciplinary in humanities and social sciences
in the form of:
1. Academic articles, or review articles.
2. Research articles which are the part or overall, of the completed research results.
3. Book review.

Objectives:

1. To disseminate quality academic and research articles.
2. To promote the creation and exchange of knowledge in the humanities and social sciences.
3. To be able to apply knowledge for widely reference and use for people who interested.
4. To be a forum to present academic works of university personnel and the general public.

Publication Frequency :  Three volumes per year
Volume 1   January-April
Volume 2   May-August
Volume 3   September-December
 

Articles to be published:

All articles undergo a thorough peer review process, with at least three external reviewers evaluating their suitability within the respective field of study. Final approval for publication is granted by the editorial board. During the review process, where the authors' identities are not disclosed to the reviewers, and the reviewers' identities are not disclosed to the authors (double-blind review).

RMUJ Regulations:
1. All submitted articles undergo academic peer review by independent evaluators using a double-blind peer review system, where the authors' identities are not disclosed to the reviewers, and the reviewers' identities are not disclosed to the authors.
2. The views expressed by individual authors do not represent the official views of the editorial boards of RMUJ. The author of each article is responsible for all its contents.
3. The Editorial Boards do not reserve the copyrights, but proper citations need to be made.

Announcement: Changes in the Manuscript Preparation Guidelines for Articles Submitted to the Mahasarakham Rajabhat University Journal

How to prepare the manuscript

1. Manuscripts may be written in either Thai or English. The components of a research article or academic article must be prepared in accordance with these author guidelines. For manuscripts written in Thai, authors should follow the official vocabulary and terminology prescribed by the Royal Institute. The use of mixed Thai and English should be avoided unless necessary. In such cases, the Thai term should be followed by its English equivalent in parentheses, with the first letter of the English term cap-italized and subsequent letters in lowercase, except for proper nouns. After the first appearance, only the Thai term should be used. Manuscripts written in English must be reviewed by a qualified English lan-guage expert to ensure linguistic accuracy.

2. Printing: Manuscripts must be prepared using Microsoft Word on Letter-size paper (8.5 x 11 inches). The page layout should be set with a top margin of 1.3 inches (3.3 cm), and left, right, and bot-tom margins of 1 inch (2.5 cm). The text should be formatted in a single column, with page numbers provided on every page.
3. Font Format: Both Thai and English text must be typed in Dillenia UPC using the same font size. Formatting requirements are as follows: (1) Title: Bold, 18 pt; (2) Author’s name: Regular, 16 pt; (3) Author affiliations (faculty, department, and institution): Regular, 12 pt; (4) Main headings: Bold, 16 pt; (5) Subheadings: Bold, 14 pt; (6) Body text: Regular, 14 pt.

4. Number of pages The length of the article should not exceed 11-15 pages, including tables, pictures and references.

Announcement Referencing Using APA 7th

Rajabhat Maha Sarakham University Journal would like to announce a change in the referencing style from APA 6th edition to APA 7th edition. Announcement: The acceptance of articles for publication in the Mahasarakham Rajabhat University Journal will be formally confirmed through an official acceptance letter, which will specify that the article is accepted for publication in Volume 20, 2026.

Due to the large number of submissions received for publication in the Mahasarakham Rajabhat University Journal, the journal has now reached its full capacity for Volume 19, 2025. Therefore, the Editorial Board would like to inform interested authors, as well as those whose articles are currently under peer review or under consideration by the Editorial Board, that once their articles have been accepted for publication, an official acceptance letter will be issued.

This acceptance letter will state that the article has been accepted for publication in Volume 20, 2026, which will be published in the following issues:
